Cello / Music Composition- Private Lessons

For the past 20 years, I have been working from my home studio, in the beautiful Mount Pleasant neighbourhood of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, offering private lessons in Cello, Music Composition, and Music Theory. As someone who holds a Master of Music degree, and is a nationally award-winning composer, and an Associate of the Canadian Music Centre, I offer very reasonable rates. I enjoy teaching students of all ages and backgrounds (adult beginner students are most welcome), and my students benefit from a flexible teaching approach, tailored to their individual needs and goals. For my cello students, in addition to teaching cello technique, I also incorporate some basic theory for my beginner students– especially for those who have limited or no previous musical background.
Most of my students have weekly (45-minute or 60-minute) lessons, which is recommended. I offer either the option of online lessons, or for local (Vancouver-based) students, I also offer the option of in-person lessons at my home studio. I currently teach online students from across the country.
I am happy to take on new students throughout the year– please contact me for current rates and availability. ![]()
