Cello / Music Composition- Private Lessons
For the past 15+ years, I have been working from my home studio, in the beautiful Mount Pleasant neighbourhood of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, offering private lessons in Cello, Music Composition, and Music Theory. As someone who holds a MMus degree, and is a nationally award-winning composer, and an Associate of the Canadian Music Centre, I offer very reasonable rates. I enjoy teaching students of all ages and backgrounds, and my students benefit from a flexible teaching approach, tailored to their individual needs and goals. In addition to cello technique, I also incorporate some basic theory for my beginner students– especially for those who have limited or no previous musical background.
Most of my students have weekly (45-minute or 60-minute) lessons, which is recommended. For the past several years, I have been doing all of my teaching online, though I may go back to offering the option of in-person lessons at my home studio too, for local (Vancouver-based) students. I currently have online students across the country.
