“The Hummingbird”, (the 1st movement of “September Songs”, originally commissioned by the Vancouver Erhu Quartet), by Elizabeth Knudson, will be performed in a new arrangement created for the Vancouver Inter-Cultural String Orchestra, directed by Janna Sailor, as part of the Global Soundscapes Festival (June 11th-14th, 2026).
